* WHAT…Flooding caused by upstream dam release is occurring.

* WHERE…Southeastern Conecuh County in south central Alabama…
West Central Covington County in south central Alabama…
East Central Escambia County in south central Alabama…

* WHEN…Until 1115 AM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS…Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1110 PM CDT, an upstream floodgate release is expected to
cause flooding in low lying areas along the Conecuh River.
– Flooding is occurring along the Conecuh River.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
River Falls and Beck.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
