Small Craft Advisory issued June 20 at 12:43PM PDT until June 23 at 5:00AM PDT by NWS Medford OR
* WHAT…For the Small Craft Advisory, north winds 20 to 30 kt
with gusts approaching 40 kt and seas 7 to 10 ft at 10 seconds
expected. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, very steep and
hazardous seas 7 to 10 ft at 9 seconds expected.
* WHERE…For the Small Craft Advisor, only a small portion of
the northern waters. For the Hazardous Seas Warning, for nearly
all the waters.
* WHEN…For the Small Craft Advisory, until 5 AM PDT Tuesday.
For the Hazardous Seas Warning, from 2 PM Sunday to 5 AM PDT
Tuesday.
* IMPACTS…Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
treacherous.

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for very steep seas and consider remaining in port
until conditions improve.
