Flood Advisory issued June 19 at 9:55AM CDT until June 19 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Birmingham AL

* WHAT…Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…A portion of central Alabama, including the following
county, Pike.

* WHEN…Until 100 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 955 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Troy, Brundidge, Banks, Troy University, Troy Municipal
Airport, Antioch, Ansley, Mossy Grove, Monticello and Josie.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
