Flood Advisory issued June 19 at 8:46AM CDT until June 19 at 11:45AM CDT by NWS Norman OK
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…A portion of southern Oklahoma, including the following
county, Murray.
* WHEN…Until 1145 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 846 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.

Sulphur and creeks flowing into Lake Of The Arbuckles.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
