Special Weather Statement issued June 18 at 8:19PM EDT by NWS Columbia SC

At 818 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Lancaster to Mt Pisgah to near Bishopville.
Movement was northeast at 60 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Lancaster, Cheraw, Bishopville, Indian Land, Waxhaw, Pageland,
Kershaw, Chesterfield, Elgin, Heath Springs, Andrew Jackson State
Park, Cheraw State Park, USC Lancaster, Irwin, Northeastern Technical
College, Cassatt, Cheraw Municipal Airport, Lee State Park, Carolina
Sandhills Wildlife Refuge, and Van Wyck.

This includes Interstate 20 in South Carolina between mile markers
115 and 124.
