The National Weather Service in El Paso has issued a

* Dust Advisory for…
Northwestern Hidalgo County in southwestern New Mexico…

* Until 845 PM MDT.

* At 639 PM MDT, blowing dust was affecting the Lordsburg Playa area
again, due to outflow from decaying thunderstorms in Arizona.

HAZARD…Less than one half mile visibility with strong winds up
to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Detected by National Weather Service meteorologists.

IMPACT…Hazardous travel.

* Potions of Interstate 10 west of Lordsburg to the Arizona state
line will be impacted. Also portions of US-70 northwest of
Lordsburg may be impacted.

Locations impacted include…
Steins, Road Forks, and Lordsburg Playa.

Motorists should not drive into an area of blowing dust. PULL ASIDE
STAY ALIVE!
