…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Louisiana…Texas…
Whisky Chitto Creek Near Mittie
Bundick Creek At Bundick Lake
Calcasieu River Near Oakdale
Calcasieu River Near Glenmora
Calcasieu River near White Oak Park
Calcasieu River Near Oberlin
Calcasieu River Near Kinder
Sabine River Near Deweyville
Pine Island Bayou Near Sour Lake

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Calcasieu River near Oakdale.
* WHEN…Until early Saturday afternoon.
* IMPACTS…At 17.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding, mainly forested
areas along the river will occur. Park and picnic ground off of
Highway 10 begins to flood.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 17.5 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 9:30 AM CDT Thursday was 18.1 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.6
feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage
early tomorrow afternoon.
– Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
