At 508 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8
miles east of Surgoinsville, or 9 miles southwest of Kingsport,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol Tn, Elizabethton, Jonesborough,
Surgoinsville, Central, Spurgeon, Midway, and Pine Crest.
