Special Weather Statement issued June 14 at 3:09PM CDT by NWS Tallahassee FL

At 309 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of De Funiak Springs. The strong thunderstorm is nearly
stationary.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
De Funiak Springs, Eglin Air Force Base, Eucheeanna, Red Bay,
Douglass Crossroad, Pleasant Ridge, New Home, Knox Hill, and Rock
Hill.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Locally heavy rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may
lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through
flooded roadways.
