Special Weather Statement issued June 14 at 2:00PM MDT by NWS Salt Lake City UT
At 200 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 21 miles west of Green River to 22 miles south
of Clawson. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern
Emery County.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 107 and 137.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
