Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 14 at 4:18PM CDT until June 14 at 4:30PM CDT by NWS Midland/Odessa TX
At 417 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles west of West
Odessa, or 16 miles west of Odessa, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include…
Odessa, Goldsmith, West Odessa, Notrees, and Odessa Schlemeyer Field.
This includes Interstate 20 between mile markers 95 and 97.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
