Flood Advisory issued June 14 at 6:28PM MDT until June 14 at 9:30PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

* WHAT…Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Southwestern Lincoln County in central New Mexico…

* WHEN…Until 930 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 628 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding.
Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Oscuro.
– This includes Highway 54 from Oscuro south to the county line.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
