Flood Advisory issued June 14 at 12:49AM CDT until June 14 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Springfield MO
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following
county, Greene.
* WHEN…Until 700 AM CDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1249 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Springfield, Republic, Battlefield, Strafford, Willard, Ash
Grove, Fair Grove, Walnut Grove, Brookline, Glidewell,
Ebenezer, Cave Springs, Sacville, Galloway, Bois D’arc,
Turners and Bassville.
