Flood Advisory issued June 13 at 9:23PM EDT until June 13 at 10:30PM EDT by NWS Tallahassee FL
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE…A portion of south central Georgia, including the
following county, Thomas.
* WHEN…Until 1030 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 923 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 3.5 inches of
rain have fallen.
– Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Thomasville, Ochlocknee, Pasco, Dawesville, Dillon,
Thomasville Municipal A/P, Merrillville and Newark.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
