* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE…Brown County in west central Illinois…
Northeastern Pike County in west central Illinois…

* WHEN…Until 115 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1022 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen with additional rainfall expected.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Mount Sterling, Buckhorn, La Grange, Versailles, Perry,
Chambersburg, Coopertown and Fishhook.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
