Special Weather Statement issued June 12 at 1:37AM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN

At 137 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 7 miles east of Spencer to 11 miles southwest
of Bloomington to 13 miles north of Shoals. Movement was east at 45
mph.

HAZARD…Winds in excess of 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Bloomington, Bedford, Nashville, Ellettsville, Mitchell, Oolitic,
Medora, Stinesville, Smithville, West Boggs Lake, Tunnelton, Lake
Lemon, Beanblossom, Gnaw Bone, Bartlettsville, Burns City, Spurgeons
Corner, Williams, Avoca, and Pleasant View.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM EDT for
central, south central, southwestern and west central Indiana.
