Special Weather Statement issued June 10 at 10:05PM EDT by NWS Detroit/Pontiac MI

At 1004 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Rochester to near Royal Oak to near
Detroit Zoo. Movement was east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Strong thunderstorms will be near…
Warren, Troy, Royal Oak, and Detroit Zoo around 1010 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these storms include Rochester Hills,
Madison Heights, Clawson, Berkley, Oak Park, Hazel Park, Lathrup
Village, Auburn Hills, Bloomfield Hills, and Beverly Hills.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for
southeastern Michigan.
