Special Weather Statement issued June 9 at 8:05PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

At 805 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 5 miles northeast of Nara Visa to 7
miles south of Tucumcari, moving east northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Tucumcari, Nara Visa, Logan, San Jon, Ute Lake State Park,
Wheatland and Bard.

This includes the following highways…
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 331 and 373. State Road 104 near
Mile Marker 105.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
