Flood Advisory issued June 9 at 12:40PM EDT until June 9 at 1:30PM EDT by NWS Greenville-Spartanburg SC

* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive runoff lingers.

* WHERE…Northwestern Spartanburg County in upstate South
Carolina…

* WHEN…Until 130 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 1237 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the threat of
additional heavy rain had ended. Please continue to remain wary
of lingering areas of high water and/or elevated streamflows from
Inman south to Lyman. This advisory will expire on schedule.
– Some locations that may experience flooding include…
Greer, Boiling Springs SC, Duncan, Lyman, Wellford, Inman, Lake
Bowen and Fingerville.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
