increased in duration for the following rivers in Michigan…

Thornapple River Above Hastings affecting Barry County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.

* WHERE…Thornapple River above Hastings.

* WHEN…Until Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 8.0 feet, Expect minor flooding of River Road and
homes at Quimby along River Lane, Charlton Park, and Berry’s
Landing.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 11:15 AM EDT Monday the stage was 8.8 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:15 AM EDT Monday was 8.8 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise to a crest of 9.0
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
Friday evening.
– Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
9.0 feet on 03/16/1982.
