…The National Weather Service in La Crosse WI has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Wisconsin…

Black River Near Galesville affecting La Crosse and Trempealeau
Counties.

…Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and
increased in duration for the following rivers in Wisconsin…

Yellow River at Necedah affecting Juneau County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Black River near Galesville.

* WHEN…From this afternoon to early Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS…At 12.0 feet, Flooding mainly impacts wildlands and
agricultural pasture land. The approaches on both ends of the
County Road VV bridge over the Black River in Jackson County may
begin to flood and the bridge gates may be closed.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:00 AM CDT Monday the stage was 11.1 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 12.5 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow afternoon.
– Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
12.5 feet on 04/15/2002.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
