Pine River at Alma affecting Gratiot County.
Maple River at Maple Rapids affecting Clinton County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE…Grand River at Ionia.
* WHEN…Until Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS…At 23.0 feet, Expect moderate flooding of several roads,
businesses, and residences, in the Ionia area and of structures
located in the Ionia Fairgrounds. Water halfway up windows on
automobile building at Ionia Fairgrounds. Water begins to flood
parking lot of Dollar General store, Save-a-Lot, and the Ionia
Secretary of State office. Homes along Quarry Road begin to flood.

– At 10:45 AM EDT Monday the stage was 22.7 feet.
– Bankfull stage is 13.5 feet.
– Recent Activity…The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM EDT Monday was 22.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to fall below flood stage
tomorrow evening and continue falling to 16.3 feet Monday,
April 13.
– Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
– Flood History…This crest compares to a previous crest of
22.7 feet on 03/15/1908.

cars through flooded areas.
