The Flood Advisory will expire at 5 PM EDT this afternoon for a
portion of central North Carolina, including the following areas,
Johnston, Sampson and Wayne.
The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures. Remain
alert for additional heavy downpours over the region through tonight.
