Flood Advisory issued July 11 at 5:54PM CDT until July 11 at 9:00PM CDT by NWS Nashville TN
* WHAT…Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE…A portion of Middle Tennessee, including the following
counties, Sumner, Trousdale and Wilson.
* WHEN…Until 900 PM CDT.
* IMPACTS…Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 554 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen.
– Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Gallatin, Hartsville, Dickerson Chapel Recreation Area and
Bledsoe Creek State Park.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
