Special Weather Statement issued July 1 at 3:13PM CDT by NWS Memphis TN

At 313 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Tremont, or near Fulton, moving northwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include…
Fulton, Mantachie, Tremont, New Salem, Clay, Abney, Cardsville,
Tilden, Dorsey, Jacinto, Ballardsville, and Cadamy.

This includes Interstate 22 in Mississipppi between mile markers 97
and 116.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
northeastern Mississippi.
