Open waters of Lake Michigan from Rock Island Passage to Two
Rivers…

* At 955 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm,
capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. This strong
thunderstorm was located 28 miles southeast of Jacksonport, or 28
miles southeast of Sturgeon Bay, moving east at 35 mph.

This strong thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

Report severe weather to the Coast Guard or nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office.

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
