Special Weather Statement issued June 19 at 3:37PM MDT by NWS Albuquerque NM

At 337 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 20 miles west of Raton to 28 miles north
of Ute Park, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD…Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.

Locations impacted include…
Vermejo Park.

Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
