Small Craft Advisory issued June 18 at 3:07PM PDT until June 19 at 5:00AM PDT by NWS Medford OR

* WHAT…North winds 20 to 30 kt with gusts to 35 kt and very
steep and hazardous seas 7 to 12 ft. Winds ease this evening,
become south around 10 kt, but seas remain steep 6 to 9 ft.

* WHERE…All areas, but the strongest winds and steepest seas
are expect north of Gold Beach and beyond 5 nm from shore.

* WHEN…For the Hazardous Seas Warning, until 8 PM PDT this
evening. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 8 PM this evening
to 5 AM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Very steep and hazardous seas could capsize or
damage vessels. Bar crossings will become especially
treacherous.

Recreational boaters should remain in port. Commercial vessels
should prepare for very steep seas and consider remaining in port
until conditions improve.
