Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued June 11 at 9:07AM CDT until June 11 at 9:15AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO
At 907 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles east of Centerville to 7 miles south of
Unionville to 10 miles north of Galt to near Trenton, moving
northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD…70 mph wind gusts and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated.
IMPACT…People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include…
Trenton, Milan, Unionville, Princeton, Spickard, Galt, Laredo,
Newtown, Humphreys, Pollock, Lucerne, Tindall, Harris, Powersville,
Osgood, Modena, Mill Grove, Lemons, and Reger.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM CDT for north central
and northeastern Missouri.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
