* At 921 PM EDT, emergency management reported reported considerable
street
flooding in the Ocala area with roads impassable for low clearance
vehicles. Most roads in downtown Ocala have been blocked due to
flooding. One vehicle is stalled in floodwaters. Between 1.5 and
3.0 inches of rain have fallen. Between 2 and 3.5 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible
in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD…Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms
producing flash flooding.

Instructions:
Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
