Dense Fog Advisory issued February 16 at 2:02PM CST until February 17 at 10:00AM CST by NWS Duluth MN

* WHAT…For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce
visibility to less than 1 NM. For the Gale Watch, northeast
winds 25 to 30 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and waves 7 to 10 ft
possible.

* WHERE…Two Harbors to Duluth MN.

* WHEN…For the Dense Fog Advisory, from 10 PM this evening to
10 AM CST Tuesday. For the Gale Watch, from Tuesday afternoon
through Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Low visibility
will make navigation difficult.

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.
