Dense Fog Advisory issued February 16 at 6:36AM CST until February 16 at 10:00AM CST by NWS Duluth MN

* WHAT…For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce
visibility to 1 mile or less. For the Gale Watch, northeast
winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 45 kt and waves 7 to 10 ft
possible.

* WHERE…Taconite Harbor to Silver Bay Harbor MN, Silver Bay
Harbor to Two Harbors MN and Two Harbors to Duluth MN.

* WHEN…For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 10 AM CST this
morning. For the Gale Watch, from Tuesday afternoon through
late Wednesday night.

* IMPACTS…Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. Low visibility
will make navigation difficult.

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions. Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.
