Winter Storm Watch issued February 16 at 2:36AM EST until February 18 at 7:00PM EST by NWS Marquette MI

* WHAT…Mixed precipitation changing to heavy snow. Ice
accumulations around one tenth of an inch possible in Marquette
and Baraga Counties. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 8
inches, greatest in the high terrain of Marquette County and in
the Keweenaw Peninsula. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph,
strongest in the Keweenaw Peninsula and near Lake Superior.

* WHERE…Baraga, Marquette, Keweenaw, and Northern Houghton
Counties.

* WHEN…From Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
will impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes. Gusty
winds could bring down tree branches. Wet snow and gusty winds may
cause sporadic power outages.
