Winter Storm Warning issued February 16 at 11:52AM MST until February 19 at 5:00AM MST by NWS Denver CO

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 12 and
24 inches, with localized amounts up to 30 inches at the highest
elevations. Winds gusting as high as 65 mph.

* WHERE…Rabbit Ears Pass.

* WHEN…From 2 AM Tuesday to 5 AM MST Thursday.

* IMPACTS…Snow and blowing snow will reduce visibility to a quarter
mile or less, with potential for sudden snow squalls to bring quick
intense bursts of snow and rapidly reduced visibility. Snow and ice
covered roads will make travel very difficult at times.

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for

If traveling to the mountains, be prepared for winter driving
