Dense Fog Advisory issued February 16 at 6:36AM CST until February 16 at 10:00AM CST by NWS Duluth MN

* WHAT…For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce
visibility to 1 mile or less. For the Storm Watch, east winds
25 to 35 kt with gusts up to 50 kt possible.

* WHERE…Grand Portage to Grand Marais MN and Grand Marais to
Taconite Harbor MN.

* WHEN…For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 10 AM CST this
morning. For the Storm Watch, from Tuesday afternoon through
Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS…Storm force winds and hazardous waves could capsize or
damage vessels and reduce visibility. Low visibility will make
navigation difficult.

Mariners should prepare to remain in port, alter course, and/or
secure the vessel before the onset of severe conditions.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.
