* At 1142 AM EST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 6 miles west of Pelham to near Midway to 19 miles
northwest of Carrabelle, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Florida State University, Moultrie, Thomasville, Havana, Pelham,
Midway, Florida A and M, Cairo, Camilla, Boston, Norman Park,
Ochlocknee, Pavo, Coolidge, Whigham, and Doak Campbell Stadium.

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 PM EST for Big Bend
Florida…and south central and southwestern Georgia.
