* WHAT…Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations
between 3 and 7 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE…Kuskokwim Delta Coast, north of the Kuskokwim River, and
Western Capes.

* WHEN…From 3 AM Monday to midnight AKST Monday Night.

* IMPACTS…Visibilities reduced to one quarter mile or less due to
blowing snow. Whiteout conditions are expected and will make

objects.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…A strong storm will move into the Kuskokwim
Region tonight, bringing moderate to heavy snowfall, paired with
gusty SE winds for periods of whiteout conditions; this storm will
begin to weaken by Monday night.

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel very hazardous. If you must travel, have a
winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your
vehicle.

Persons should consider delaying all travel. If travel is absolutely
necessary, drive with extreme caution. Consider taking a winter
storm kit along with you, including such items as tire chains,
booster cables, flashlight, shovel, blankets and extra clothing.
Also take water, a first aid kit, and anything else that would help
you survive in case you become stranded.
