The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
South Central Faribault County in south central Minnesota…

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 659 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 6 miles southwest of Frost, or 26 miles east
of Fairmont, moving north at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Weather spotters reported funnel cloud.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or
destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will
occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include…
Elmore and Frost.

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
building away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home,
or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect
yourself from flying debris.
