The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a

* Tornado Warning for…
Northeastern Kossuth County in north central Iowa…
Northwestern Winnebago County in north central Iowa…

* Until 730 PM CDT.

* At 654 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Rake, or 22 miles northwest of Forest City, moving
north at 15 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Weather spotters reported funnel cloud.

IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
