National Weather Service: SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING in effect for this area until 7:15 PM CDT for DESTRUCTIVE baseball size hail. Take shelter in a sturdy building, away from windows. People and animals outdoors will be severely injured.
Instructions:
Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature's leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
